Application Updates
Unlike previous Bible Analyzer updates, installing version
3.8
does will not overwrite a previous installation. This allows multiple
installations of Bible Analyzer to be installed which share the same
modules and user files. Version 3.8 will by default install the
application files in, C:\Program
Files\Bible Analyzer 3.8
Updating Bible Analyzer 3.8.1
If you have version 3.8.1, you can update to 3.8.2 with this file. This is only the executable, not a full installation.
Updating Bible Analyzer 3.0 - 3.7
If you currently have version
3.7 you can add version 3.8 by downloading and installing this file,
Version 3.8 will use the same modules and user files as 3.7, which are
found in the following locations,
- Modules folder
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Bible Analyzer\Modules (XP)
C:\ProgramData\Bible Analyzer\Modules (Vista, 7)
- Config.ini, Notes.usr, etc.
C:\Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME\Application
Data\Bible Analyzer (XP)
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Bible Analyzer
(Vista, 7)
Updating Bible Analyzer 3.6 and Earlier Modules:
Any additional modules installed in version 3.6 and earlier (such as
those installed from the Bible Analyzer Suite CD-Rom) must be
manually moved/copied from the C:\Program
Files\Bible Analyzer 3.0\Modules folder to the above module folder
locations.
(As an alternative you can run the 3.7 update which will automatically
move the files, BAUpdate372.exe. After
updating to 3.7, you must then run the 3.8 setup above.)
User Manual Updates
The above setup file includes the User Manual, however, here it is
separately as well. It will install by default in the application
folder (C:\Program
Files\Bible Analyzer 3.8).
