Linking verse

Post by Hoang »

When I hovered my mouse on the verse linked in my notes, it didn't show up. Same as my scripture pad. And whenever I clicked on a verse that was linked in my daily journal, the window disappeared.

Try doing a Reset at Tools/Reset Bible Analyzer.

Did it used to work as expected and then suddenly started this or did it always do it?

I think it used to work.
If I reset my Bible Analyzer, will it delete all my notes and highlights? I went to the tool and reset the settings but it didn't do anything.

It will not remove any of your modules or own material. It just resets the program back to the defaults.

I'm not sure what the issue may be unless the file is corrupted.

You can try loading the file and copying it then make a new ScripturePad doc and paste it in. Then try to link the refs and see if they work.

Load the file in ScripturePad like normal
Do a Ctrl+A to select all the text. (It should all be highlighted)
Then do a Ctrl+C to copy all the selected text.
Click the New Button in the ScripturePad Toolbar to make a blank document. (The original one will disappear.)
Then click the mouse in the blank page and hit Ctrl+V to paste in the copied text.
Then try to link the refs.
