I am using Bible Analyzer v5.2.1.25 for Linux (o.s. is Linux Mint 19.3, based on Ubuntu 18.04).
Using the menubar, when I select "Help > Check for Updates", it informs me that "Version 5.4.1.18 is available" and prompts me to download the update. If I choose yes, BA downloads a Windows *.exe file, which it places on my Linux desktop.
The expected behavior is for BA to detect the operating system first, and then check for updates appropriate to the operating system.
Check for Update does not check o.s.
Check for Update does not check o.s.

Tim,
Do you have a time frame on the next Linux update yet?

Re: Check for Update does not check o.s.
I just uploaded a new beta. See the beta page for the details.
Once all the bugs are worked out with it, we will release it.
