Arthur Tappan Pierson was
an American Presbyterian pastor, Christian leader, missionary, and
writer who preached over 13,000 sermons, and wrote over fifty books. He
was a consulting editor for the original "Scofield Reference Bible" (1909) for his friend, C. I. Scofield and was also a friend of D. L. Moody, George Müller, Adoniram Judson Gordon, and C. H. Spurgeon, whom he succeeded in the pulpit of the Metropolitan Tabernacle, London, from 1891 to 1893.
However, in spite of all of Pierson's activity and success in his
various ministries, he was at one time plagued with doubt. Here is his account in his
own words,
Pierson undertook a deep study of the Scriptures and the light of the Bible brought him out of his "darkness of doubt." As a result he wrote the book Many Infallible Proofs included in this new Bible Analyzer Bundle.
The Bible Analyzer A. T. Pierson Bundle includes five of his most valuable works,
- Many Infallible Proofs
- In Christ Jesus
- Knowing The Scriptures
- The Making Of A Sermon
- George Müller Of Bristol
His work on George Muller chronicles the life of this prayer warrior and is an amazing read.
