In our church, we want to use Linux computers. And so we are grateful to have found a native Linux program Bible-Analyzer to study the Bible. That's why we want to import a Bible in our language.

The following problem arises: The import only allows a number of verses of 31102 (adapted to the AV). Every German Bible has a different versification than the AV. German versification means 31159 verses. This problem is described in the German Wikipedia: "https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bibelvers" in section 6 (ambiguous references).

This problem is already evident in the existing German Bible (Luther 1545) in Bible-Analyzer. In the book of Psalms in particular, verses are missing. Usually at the end of the Psalm. For example, in Psalm 3, the last verse 9 is missing. Likewise, in Psalm 4 and Psalm 5, verse 13 is missing, etc.

This happens because AV combines verses 1 and 2 of Luther into verse 1. Please compare the Psalms in the AV and Luther with each other (if necessary translate Luther).

Is it possible to use a different versification when importing into Bible-Analyzer and import more verses? Will there possibly be an update for this?

We would greatly appreciate your support

If you can send me the text of your Bible, one verse per line, I'll compile it for Bible Analyzer. If possible, I may even put it in the Download Manager for easy install.

(The book abbrs must be in English, though (Gen, Exo, Lev, etc.)

Thank you very much for your offer to import the text.

The text is not fully formatted. We work slowly because it has to be done carefully.
