When I type a space in the Quick Entry Toolbar the focus immediately changes to the commentary window. I can't enter a verse reference, or multi-word search without re-selecting the entry area. However, if I start my entry with " [quotation marks] then it works as it should. So,

Code: Select all

sword spirit

doesn't work, but

Code: Select all

"sword spirit

acts as it should. I am using version 5.5.1.12.

Update: In addition to restarting, updating, etc., I figured I'd try a few other things. It appears this is only a problem when the Quick Entry Toolbar is un-docked. (Which is how I have mine set normally.)

This may be an issue with the page manager code in wxPython. I'm not sure I can fix it...but I'll look.
