Bible Analyzer cannot find the User Manual (help.chm)

I am using Bible Analyzer v5.6.5.04 for Windows 10. Today I received this error message:

There are 3 problems here:
(1) the name of the user manual is manual.chm, not help.chm;
(2) the user manual is located in c:\Program Files (x86)\Bible Analyzer 5\, not in somewhere in my home directory;
(3) I am sure the help used to work earlier.

I tried looking in %appdata%\Bible Analyzer\config.ini, but that didn't help.

BA says I have the latest version, so what could be wrong?

I did resolve the problem by copying "c:\Program Files (x86)\Bible Analyzer 5\manual.chm" to "c:\Users\ericp\enp\help.chm", but I think the fix should be done upstream, in the BA config file or something. I didn't find anything useful in the Windows registry. What did I miss?

Try doing a reset From the Tools menu.

Bible Analyzer looks in the default User folder, but it may have been changed somehow.

Using same version under Linux, no help display. Do not receive any error.

Any ideas?
