W10 running BA 5.5.1.15
when viewing a dictionary/comm/etc hit with allot of references only, not with the texts of the verses, im trying to send these to a multiwin to read all of the -entire verse texts- there, leisurely, instead of reading popups. think of a hit like strong's H3068 which is God's name name in hebrew...lots of verses here. when i select a group of such verses and rt click, and choose "view verse text of references in multiwindow" nothing happens. conversely, when i select verse group, then go to "control" menu and select "paste references from clipboard with verse text (shift F2)", nothing happens. and, if i right click a group and choose, "export to S-Pad/Notes" it only sends the 1st verse only not the rest of the selection. any ideas?
edit: im using BA in virtual machines. the one above with the problem is on a W10 VM, and: the BA installation there is a PORTABLE install...not sure if that matters. further: i have another BA installation on a linux mint 21.3 VM, BA ver 5.5.1.02. this fn above -IS WORKING- in the mint VM. it is pasting the full verses into a multwin OK. but i need it to work in the W10 box, thats where my workflows are. lemme know if you need more
"paste references from clipboard with verse text" problem
Re: "paste references from clipboard with verse text" problem
First, it is best to update to v5.6.
The right-click send refs to MultiWindow does not send the refs in selected text but all the refs on the page.
There are multiple export options in the right-click menu. TO send selected text you must use the selected text item. To export a range of verses you must use the "Export From [verse] To [verse] option.
The portable edition will not make any difference.
