WIllmington's Guide to the Bible

Post by Brother Mike »

Good day, Tim.

Any chance we will ever see Willmington's Guide to the Bible as a module?

This great work would be an awesome addition.

Not likely.

I think it is published by Thomas Nelson and they won't even reply to my requests. I have wrote them a number of times over the years.

One reason, I think is TN is now owned by Harper Collins which is owned by the secular Newscorp. All they are interested in is money. It is not a ministry but a business. I have heard that TN and Zondervan require a large, advanced deposit before they will even consider licensing their material. So that would rule Bible Analyzer out anyway.

It's a shame some good material is tied up in arrangements like that. Most people don't realize that the NKJV, NIV, etc. are not even owned by a Christian organization.

I had a feeling this would be the answer, but I had to ask.
