Check your spam folder. It seems some Bible Analyzer emails get sent there.

I searched through every email folder on both my local machine (I use Thunderbird for email) and online using Charter's web interface. I cannot find any newsletter emails since November 2019 (I guess it's been longer than I thought). In fact, I don't get email notifications for any forum threads I'm subscribed to. I can't tell that anything is causing this on my end. None of the message filters I have reference "morton@bibleanalyzer.com" or anything similar.

I can confirm the issue darryl_jw is having with saving a session. I do not use this feature much, but did so today and it did in fact crash BA. I did send in a report. BA locked up afterward in the loading new session dialog.

That's now fixed in the release version available on the Download Page,
https://www.bibleanalyzer.com/download.html.

Thanks.

Hi Tim and all,

I have a clean install of Linux Mint 21.1 and the latest download of BA 5.5.1.02. I have a problem with the synced audio. It works fine if I am listening to a whole chapter but if I pause by clicking the audio button, or just clicking in the Bible window, the highlighted verse starts going down the page, usually to the end of the chapter.

If I click the play button, it starts reading where it left off but that verse is not visible on the screen. After a verse or two the highlight goes back to the correct place.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Bill

This sounds like a threading issue in the code where the audio sync thread is getting out of wack.

I'll try to check it out before long. Thanks.

I don't know if you got my email regarding the audio playing from one chapter to the next, but I thought I'd add here too in case it is linked to the same issue?
