Spurgeon eBooks

Post by Brother Mike »

Hi Bro. Tim

Just installed BA 5.5 on Ubuntu 22.04.
I re-downloaded my purchased modules and I had previously purchased the Spurgeon sermon notes with eBooks. I cannot find the ePub books that should be included. Where would they be hiding?

Thank you

They should be under your Documents/Bible Analyzer folder. IF not there run Bible Analyzer from Terminal (bibleanalyzer) and redownload the notes and see if there are any errors or warnings.

I will be getting back to Linux soon.

Terminal??? What's that?

Heh. Only kidding
The only items in the zip file are the four .bk files. Do not see the ePub books.

This is what I get:

Ok, let me put together a zip that has them. They must have gotten "misplaced" somewhere on my extremely (un)tidy computer.

Will let you know when.

Yes, and no.

First run I got this:

/home/mjones/Documents/BibleAnalyzer/text/Sermon Notes Vol. 1-4 - Charles Spurgeon.epub
/home/mjones/Documents/BibleAnalyzer/text/Sermon Notes Vol. 1-4 - Charles Spurgeon.epub Path not available

I downloaded the .zip file and looked inside. They were there. So...

Based on the path not available message, I created a folder under BibleAnalyzer called text, re-downloaded and got this:

/home/mjones/Documents/BibleAnalyzer/text/Sermon Notes Vol. 1-4 - Charles Spurgeon.epub
/home/mjones/Documents/BibleAnalyzer/text/Sermon Notes Vol. 1-4 - Charles Spurgeon.mobi
/home/mjones/Documents/BibleAnalyzer/modules/Text/spurgeon-notes1.bk
/home/mjones/Documents/BibleAnalyzer/modules/Text/spurgeon-notes2.bk
/home/mjones/Documents/BibleAnalyzer/modules/Text/spurgeon-notes3.bk
/home/mjones/Documents/BibleAnalyzer/modules/Text/spurgeon-notes4.bk

And yes, they were where they were supposed to be. Thank you much.
