TTS for Linux Mint 19.1

Post by kjb369151 »

my tts is not working for Bible reading. I have festvox and espeak installed. I don't here the opening greeting.
Everything I read talks about MS tts and using wine, I am guessing that the program's MS Windows version is installed using Wine. Since I am using the Linux version I would like to know if the tts is available in the linux version and if it it is how do I get it work?

Bible Analyzer uses espeak in Linux. If espeak works ok with other programs, try running Bible Analyzer from Terminal (type, bibleanalyzer) and see if the output has any TTS errors reported.
