For some reason, I have 2 CWD tabs in my dictionary panel. (Combined Word Definitions, BDB & Thayer)
When I go to Session Manager and remove one of the check marks and reload the session, both of the tabs are gone.
I can only see the dictionary tabs if both of them are selected in the Session Manager.

Is this normal or do I actually have a problem?

Not a problem. You just have two CWD files. Right-click on one of them and find the path to the file, then go there in Windows Explorer and delete or move it. Then you will only have one.
