ScripturePad Editor failed

Post by epement »

I worked over an hour composing a biblical response for Facebook in the ScripturePad editing window, inserting Bible verses and studies from 4 translations. Then I pressed Control-A to mark all, and Control-C to copy the marked content.

Everything disappeared, and Bible Analyzer threw an error, and the ScripturePad window went gray. There is no undo, nothing in the clipboard, no sub-menu from the down-triangle V in the toolbar under "S-Pad", no export to Multi-Window, no nothing. All my work completely lost. Arrrrgh!

Linux Mint v20.2, MATE desktop, Bible Analyzer v5.4.0.50 for Linux.

Sorry about this. The Linux edition 5.4 is still a beta and may have some issues.

Linux copying works differently than other platforms and uses different controls which are sometimes updated and made incompatible.
