I think that's a dll issue. XP needs MSVCP71.dll besides MSVCR71.dll which is included.
You should be able to find it online. If you can't let me know. Just put it in the Bible Analyzer folder.
I will distribute both with the official release.

Re: BA 3.9 impressions
Good on the installation of the modules. I figured there was a way to extract the exe files (they are really just archives). Anyway with v4 we will have links for .tar.bz2 versions of the files for Linux users. We had to change the modules location because of permissions. The module creator utility ...

Re: Thank you
Thanks for the kind words. It not that we are looking for thanks or recognition, its just that time is valuable and one wants to use it in a manner where he gets the most out of it. It takes time to make Bible Analyzer work on Linux, and I was just thinking out loud about whether to continue. But we...

Re: Converting modules to other database formats
I looked at your blog and it is very interesting. I believe your approach will be helpful. One of the reasons I started Bible Analyzer a few years ago was to try and look at the Scriptures in a little different way using statistics, sequences, comparison, and other means. You idea of tagging or link...

Bible Analyzer 4.0 Release Candidate
After months of development, Bible Analyzer 4 is ready for final testing. It has many new features and enhancements and is a major overhaul of Bible Analyzer. Below is an installation .exe of v4 portable that will install all files under one folder. This is more convenient for testing purposes. http...

Re: Can't get program to work
This should have been posted in the "Other Topics of Interest" forum. "What does the Bible state about a man looking at his wife lustfully even though he claims to love her?" One cannot commit adultery with his wife. The two are already "one flesh." This is not what the...

Re: Some problems after installation
Yes, it is an encoding issue and your correction will compensate for it. Some of the texts had non ascii characters that caused the problem. Earlier versions did use the Latin1 encoding (and some modules have that encoding) but now Bible Analyzer likes only the UTF-8 and ascii encodings. Version 4 w...

I think you have the wrong forum. This is for the Bible Analyzer Bible study program.
