The transparently linked Strong's icon highlight shows as SS
but then when window gets focus it goes. In Windows version it toggles when clicking on the S.

Novice Linux Mint 18.1 user. Just wanted to test this in a VM. I get BA to run ok. But when I look at where it is installed it appears to be installed in my user documents -> BibleAnalyzer folder. My bad! Somehow I did not copy the latest AV1769s.bib module to VirtualBox! I now have footnotes! Just for the exercise there were other mismatches causing a crash at notes on verses
Exodus 2:18,22,25
Jonah 1:1,4,9,10,11,13,15,16,17(known)
3John 1:1,2,6,14
Jud 1:6,7 [Thanks Darrel I assumed they were all in 3John]

The highlighting issue is what I have also. I can get one flash of words highlighting and then it does not work hovering over other words. To get another word to highlight I have to press Alt and release it, then move the cursor over a word (now cursor changes to an I) now hold down Alt and I get it...

Yes that is the way to fix it. I fixed mine the same way.

The footnote number in the footnotes table is not there. It is numbered 14,15, 17, 18.....
