Re: 4.0 RC

You can make another cmt the default in Preferences so the TSK(e) won't display in both places. There will still be a TSKe tab in the Comments window, but it won't be displayed by default.

Re: No Master Control Panel

Yes, it is an encoding issue with the Hodge book module. V4 should fix the issue.

Re: BA 4.0 RC Audio / Quiz Player

For some reason it can't find the audio drivers (if they are loaded). I'll check it out. At least put an exception in to catch the error when not found.

Thanks

Re: Testing BA 4.0

I think that's a dll issue. XP needs MSVCP71.dll besides MSVCR71.dll which is included.

You should be able to find it online. If you can't let me know. Just put it in the Bible Analyzer folder.

I will distribute both with the official release.

Re: BA 3.9 impressions

Good on the installation of the modules. I figured there was a way to extract the exe files (they are really just archives). Anyway with v4 we will have links for .tar.bz2 versions of the files for Linux users. We had to change the modules location because of permissions. The module creator utility ...

Re: Thank you

Thanks for the kind words. It not that we are looking for thanks or recognition, its just that time is valuable and one wants to use it in a manner where he gets the most out of it. It takes time to make Bible Analyzer work on Linux, and I was just thinking out loud about whether to continue. But we...

Re: Converting modules to other database formats

I looked at your blog and it is very interesting. I believe your approach will be helpful. One of the reasons I started Bible Analyzer a few years ago was to try and look at the Scriptures in a little different way using statistics, sequences, comparison, and other means. You idea of tagging or link...
