Re: Haitian Creole Bible?
Thank you!!!! Happy dance!!! Haitian Creole in the third most spoken language in some parts of the USA and many churches send people to Haiti. For such a widely spoken language, resources are scarcer than resources for much rarer languages. It is a sad thing. It is a good thing you are not closer or...

Re: KJV 1611
Right now, I am using the portable app version of BA on a machine running Windows with as much stripped out of the Windows as possible.
I might try Mint again. I just picked up Linux in Easy Steps from the library and it uses Mint.

Re: Crash report for BA 5.4.0.50 for Linux
If you have time, can you check the dramatized audio bible? I failed to get it to work on multiple machines and distros. The non-dramatized Bible works on Linux and both Bibles work in Windows. I don't think this is user error on my part.

Re: KJV 1611
I found it! Thanks! I do not know why I could not see it before.
It works in the portable version of Windows. But I think I need to install the fonts and I have not figured out how to do that in the portable version yet.

Re: Using BA for academic and seminary work
I think I successfully followed some instructions that make Anki portable. It looks like an app is more difficult than instructions, because computers rename USB drives. As long as I use the app only on computers that call the drive the same thing, this should work. And I think online storage is fre...

Re: Using BA for academic and seminary work
Obviously the ris imports as a book, not software. In Chicago/Turbian style, the encyclopedia article format seems closer to Bible software than the software format. The name of the software comes too early and is in italic not regular text, and the tile of the book is in quotes instead of italic. B...

Re: Using BA for academic and seminary work
You are always most helpful! My cybersecurity and Linux knowledge is very very uneven. I have not learned about timeshift, or at least don't remember it well. I played around with trying to revert to an older kernel before I gave up on that, and don't remember what I used. I was up until 2 in the mo...

Re: Using BA for academic and seminary work
My Ubuntu 18.04 install crashed. It updated and broke. So ... I installed the most lean Windows possible on my mini-desktop. Then I installed the PORTABLE Windows version of BA on a thumbdrive, along with some apps from portableapps.com. Now I am trying to figure out how to make the best possible ac...
