Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Linux)
FEATURE REQUEST for BA 5.6 -- Let's do a dark theme as well as the light theme. If you need a volunteer to rework the icons to show up better in the dark theme, let me know. :-) Tim, Can you guys use some SVG graphics for Icons? Not sure if it would play better with hi-DPI displays. I've got a few ...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Linux)
** Update ** Ubuntu Gnome 20.04 - Upon installing Ubuntu 20.04 (Gnome) I applied all of the updates that I could find. Bible Analyzer 5.4 now installs without issue right from the *.deb file. Seems to be running smoothly. The 'search bar' bug is gone, text can be typed in freel. The text in the sear...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Linux)
Using the latest www.bibleanalyzer.com/bibleanalyzer.5.4-1_all.deb I ran a brief test in the following Linux Distros: Kubuntu 20.04 - Works beautifully under plasma/KDE neon. No issues under normal usage. Renders properly. Functions normally. Ubuntu MATE 20.04 - BA works smooth as silk in MATE 20.04...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Linux)
So... I just noticed that hover over a word with the mouse and hit the 'ctrl' key, BA highlights all the instances of that word on the screen. I NEVER NOTICED THIS BEFORE!!!! Tim, you absolutely amaze me!!! Thanks for putting that feature in there. What a neat tool! The modules are running smooth, a...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Linux)
Tested the BA 5.4.1 beta on Pop/Ubuntu 20.04 - Clean install. (Note: BA 5.2.1 does not run on Pop/Ubuntu 20.04 due to python dependancies on python-espeak (>=0.3) and python-configobj (>=4.7) -- both do not seem to be install-able.) BA 5.4.1 installs. Upon 1st run, it immedately throws the following...

Re: BibleAnalyzer 5.4 - Snap?
The Snaps tutorial uses a 'Tarball' file as it's source code. I'm not sure if the '.deb' I download from the BA/downloads/ page will work.

BibleAnalyzer 5.4 - Snap?
Tim, What are your thoughts on putting BA into a 'snap' format? Was reading through: https://tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutorial/create-your-first-snap#0 And it seemed like it, potentially, could help with the changing 'dependency' issues. Obviously, Python 3 is where everything is going now, but after re...
