Re: Default commentary

It appears that the function of the D button has changed but the Quick help has not been updated.
I have a BA 4, and it had the function the way it is described in the Quick help.

Maybe Tim will have some comment to add.

Re: Default commentary

If you just don't want any commentary to synchronise, toggle the chain icon in the commentary window. There has to be a default commentary set as far as I can tell. You have the option to quickly set the current one as default by clicking the D icon. Long way is to go to preferences and set it there.

Re: 5.2 Beta Testing (Linux)

Another issue.
I thought it might be a problem with using the mouse wheel to scroll the list, so I tried to use the vertical scroll bar, at which point the program appears to freeze.

Re: 5.2 Beta Testing (Linux)

Tim, I am not sure of the exact sequence of when things go wrong, but at some point when I am switching tabs and using the dropdown it happens. Try using the Concise dictionary by Morrish, and the Web-1913. You need to watch carefully the word you click in the list. I just clicked on Adultery in the...

Re: 5.2 Beta Testing (Linux)

I am testing this with Mint 18 64bit. There is something wrong with the dropdown for a certainty but I can't pin it down. Additionally I have noticed this as shown in screen shot. The dropdown shows the word "Corrupted" but the module claims it is not there. I find that issues manifest whe...

Re: 5.2 Beta Testing (Linux)

Another anomaly. When hovering any of the top row icons, (q b r c d l and any others on that top row) the pointer turns to what looks like a resize pointer.

p.s Schaff, History of the Christian Church etc modules that were not installing.... now install ok.

Re: 5.2 Beta Testing (Linux)

Hi Tim, 7. Downloading modules appears mostly ok. When I sync it says I have one new premium module - Exposition on the Whole Bible - Henry. I download it, BA closes and reopens. I do the download again, this time should not have any new modules, and it says I have the same module needing to be dow...

Re: 5.2 Beta Testing (Linux)

The Strong's Button issue appears to be a bug in the underlying wxPython code. If I disable the dropdown menu beside the button the "toggle" indicator will display. But if the dropdown is enabled, the button will not show whether the toggle is on or off. I doubt I can do anything about it...

Re: 5.2 Beta Testing (Linux)

Tim, that has fixed all the issues for me except the icon highlight issue I have, mentioned in post above http://www.bibleanalyzer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3436#p3436 When I set the Strong's to link transparent via the menu, the icon has a colored background, but if I pass the mouse pointer over it...
