Re: Can't Quit

Does Bible Analyzer freeze or lock up and you have to force quit or does it work normally but you just can't close it?

These kinds of issues can be hard to trace down.

You have v.17. It is the latest on Mac.

Yes, the update file is for Windows.

Re: BibleAnalyzer 5.4 - Snap?

I have looked into AppImage, Flatpak, and Snap packages and they each have their disadvantages. One of the main ones is they are in a sandboxed environment making the downloading of modules very difficult if not impossible. Lord willing I'll get v5.4 finished this winter. As stated it is based on Py...

Re: Bible Analyzer in Mageia Linux

Yes, you can try getting them from Ubuntu and installing them on your system. It looks like it is hanging up on the espeak module. It may not be the correct one there are a few different ones. The python-espeak at Ubuntu should be it. I have looked into AppImage, Flatpak, and Snap packages and they ...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Linux)

It will be a while. I don't even have it integrated into the Bible Analyzer code yet. It is just a standalone "proof of concept" so far.

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Linux)

Yes, 5.4 still has some issues with the conversion to Python 3.7. That is why it is not released yet. v5.2 has the same Hebrew display. Here is a screenshot of a preliminary design of a stacked interlinear I have put together. It will have options to show/hide any of the stacked data. This will be o...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Linux)

It is on the "to do" list. It will take quite a bit of work to modify the code to make it flow RTL. It is not as simple as it may seem. I may have to do in stages. It does not seem to be an issue for most Bible Analyzer users. The Hebrew words are RTL it is just the sentence flow that is not...but I...

Re: Bible Analyzer in Mageia Linux

Bible Analyzer has not been tested on an RPM distro, but you are welcome to try and get it going. Bible Analyzer has a few dependencies for v5.2 including, python 2.7 python-wxgtk3.0 python wxmedia3.0 python-espeak plus a couple others. Try starting Bible Analyzer from Terminal by going to the folde...

Re: Error when searching for user notes

Thanks for the report.

I'll have this fixed with a minor update soon. There are a couple other little things that need fixed as well.
