BA 5.4.1.17 downloads the Windows update to 5.4.1.20 when I do a Check for update from the Help menu.
Not sure you got this, the Mac version downloads the Windows update.

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Mac)

After installing the latest version, the About screen tells me it is 5.4.1.19.

Check for updates says I have the latest version, 5.4.1.18.

Oh, and the Finder says it is 5.4.1.15.

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Mac)

Are you clearing out all your installed files and starting from a virtually fresh installation?

Also, the system-wide keyboard shortcut command to hide the program (command-H) clashes with the BibleAnalyzer menu option to highlight text (also command-H).

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Mac)

Hi Tim,

I am using your Download version (5.4).

I have cleaned out all preferences etc using AppDelete before starting to use it.
When I start the program the "Enter Word or Ref." QuickSearch box is inaccessible until I download another Bible version (e.g. Geneva).

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Mac)

This is beta 28. The only thing I noticed so far is the system voices and text-to-speech. A lot of the options in the list (Text to speech options) just read "premium" and a lot of the options are in all-lowercase letters. Also it is not recognising many of the voices I have installed (the...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Mac)

This is new: experimenting with the Session Manager . I tried to create a session with a subset of modules, I had an error screen flash up (didn''t save what it said, sorry) and now it is stuck on a window with "Loading Session Group "Group 1". I am going to have to force-quit to try ...

"The Parallel texts do default to all texts if an AV Bible is not selected. I'll look into just adding only the AV instead."

Or maybe send the user back to the text selection box?

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Mac)

Hi, this is with Beta 25. On launch after a clean installation, the "Enter Word or Ref." box is blank and cannot be accessed. (I also had this issue with earlier versions of the beta.) I downloaded some further modules (just a few Bible versions) and then it was activated. All English Bibl...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Mac)

Looking in the ~User/Library/Application Support folder: I have one folder for Bible Analyzer Then dozens of other files: it doesn't look right, i would expect all those other files to be inside the Bible Analyzer folder (the top one). Has something gone wrong here? It looks like a backslash rather ...
