I did verify that BA 5.4 on Ubuntu 19.10 fixed my audio problem with Gstreamer.

I installed a fresh Ubuntu 19.10 and the BA 5.4 beta. The verse level audio is now working. Thanks. I'll be doing some more testing.

I didn't try it yet. I will have to reinstall Ubuntu after I got mad at the interface and deleted it

I installed Ubuntu 19.10 on a new SSD to see if anything changed, and then I downloaded BA and installed it, but I still have the same issue and error messages when using BA 5.2.1.25 to play synced audio.

I've had the same gstreamer issue for a long time in Linux mint 18.3 and other versions. Audio apps work fine but I can't use the synced audio in Bible Analyzer. This beta looks very good.

The link button in the S-Pad crashes the program for me.

When I highlight a verse, the display jumps to v. 1 of the chapter.

I just sent an email to Tim also. I clicked on the audio/quiz player icon and it locked up Linux. Didn't get much farther.

diff file1 file2 shows the current and last download are different, so I guess I still have the dropdown problem in the latest version.
