Bible Analyzer 4.9 Beta (Linux)
Re: Bible Analyzer 4.9 Beta (Linux)
It looks like the Layout got scrambled.
Click the small L button in the main Toolbar and select one of the layouts like the default one and see if it straightens up. If not go to your .config/bibleanalyzer folder and delete the config4.ini and two .dat files and that will reset all your settings and it should work.

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.9 Beta (Linux)
Sorry for the delayed response, but I accidentally turned my computer into a pen drive for awhile.
I reinstalled the beta, and there are no changes. I tried clicking L and deleting the noted files, but that did not change anything.
No beg deal! I like the program just fine. I saved a layout with the bible only and with the tree, but that narrow blue panel on the right never goes away. That's OK. All this is very minor. We're getting spoiled, you know.
I'll be testing the other features more this week, but it all looks OK so far.

If I try text to speech, it reads fine, but the screen changes.
Also, if I click on J, nothing happens.
I'll keep testing and report.

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.9 Beta (Linux)
I just tried text to speech again. If I use it with a multiple windows display, it works fine. It only switches to another window, if I try it in a bible only display.
Re: Bible Analyzer 4.9 Beta (Linux)
Since 4.8 I have been having a rather difficult time trying to get Bible Analyzer running on Arch Linux. Here is the latest attempt:
Any help?

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.9 Beta (Linux)
One issue could be you are using wx-3.0-gtk2. Bible Analyzer 4.9 needs wx-2.8-gtk2. I need to stipulate only 2.8 in the dependencies. V5.0 will use 3.0.

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.9 Beta (Linux)
My graphics problems do go on. I was just trying to copy some verses for memorization. If I click on something in the Bible tree, I get the commentary screen. Then, if I click on B, I get what I clicked on previously in the Bible tree. That makes this version of BA unusable for me. I will keep checking things out, then uninstall, and reinstall the last version.

Under the View menu. F5 to F8 does not work.
If I click on the audo/quiz player, I get this message --

Re: Bible Analyzer 4.9 Beta (Linux)
Just encountered a really strange problem.
Would you be able to make the Module Download manager resizable (or at least tell me how to fix this)?
On my Xubuntu 1360x720 and Windows 1920x1080 laptops it works just find. No problems that I'm aware of.
But on my Ubuntu 1920x1080 laptop the Module Download Manager has the sync button below the interface. I'm attaching a picture to show you.
