Help creating a Bible module

Post by MyWereld »

Is there someone with a Windows machine who can try and convert this e-sword module for me please?

The module tool in Linux is broken atm, so if anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Code: Select all

http://www.e-sword.net/files/bibles/aov.exe
If you would like to help me or point me in the right direction to make it from scratch, then please do!

Bible:
Afrikaans Ou Vertaling 1933/53

Thanks!

Official E-sword modules from the e-sword site cannot be converted because they are encrypted. Only user made e-sword modules that are not encrypted can be converted (such as those from the e-sword-users site)

So how should one then go about getting another translation of the Bible?

Is there an easy or easier way to create such a Bible module?
I read a bit about creating a module and it seems like quite a task, I'm very strapped for time so it will take me ages to complete (only have a spare time here and there to dedicate to this).

Check and see if the Unbound Bible site has the translations you want. If so, they are pretty easy to convert (but Module Creator cannot do it). I may get time to do it if you let me know which one.

Thank you, very kind of you. I'll give it a go as well to see how it goes, but here is the version I would like:

Took a few minutes and made one. Try this, http://www.BibleAnalyzer.com/Free/afr1953.zip

It works! Thank you so much!

I can't believe that it only took you a "few minutes", thank you very much for the effort!
:D

If you want to add it to the modules page you can list it as:

Hi Tom

You don't need to buy it. Here it is,
