I have to abide by a fair usage agreement which limits the # of bible verses I use at a given time. Basically, I need to count the # of bible verses I quote when I am discussing a particular subject. Is there a way with this software to do that?

No, not just by selecting Bible text. However, if the text is a result of a search, the number of verses with a hit is counted in the search results.
