Difficuty with Books adn Articles in BA 3.9

Postby AUoletimer » Mon Mar 22, 2010 5:14 pm

I recently installed BA 3.9.2 upgrade and it appears to work as expected, except for one difficulty. I cannot find my book/article titles from previous BA versions in the 3.9 Book/Article Viewer, or in any one of the other panes, or when I press F3.
In the Library:Books & Articles section of the Master Control Panel, I see “Bible Analyzer Suite CD-Rom” and below this is a listing of seven titles beginning with “Chronology of Bible Versions” and ending with “Which Translation…?”. (I assume these to be titles that are new to the 3.9 upgrade??)

I can find my “old” book and article titles in a folder by the following path, C:\Documents and Settings\ALLUSERS\Application Data\Bible Analyzer\Modules\Text Also in the Module folder here are the my “old” Audio., Bible, commentary, Dictionary, and Image folders and their titles appear and seem to work in BA 3.9, unlike the contents of the Text folder.

I am running WIN XP Pro and have had previous versions of BA on my PC. I have a BA 3.0 Plus 2008? CD with its library books and articles.

Can anyone please tell me how to get all of my articles and books to appear and work in the 3.9 upgrade?
Thank you

Go to the Tools menu and select Convert 3.7 and Earlier Texts. That should convert your book files to the new format used by 3.9.

If you have any more issues, please let us know.

That worked.
Thanks for making it so easy and quick. I had actually thought of using the converter, but hesitated because of the "warning" in the i box.
