Verse Popup Placement

Post by mikephil »

If I hoover over the verse in a commentary, Notes or a search window, the corresponding verse will expand. If Holding the "CTRL" Key and then Hoovering over it, it will show expanded verses on either side of main verse. This is a great feature... Now the problem is, there is no control of where the popup window will be. Usually at the bottom of my screen (Windows 10 OS) and if the "CTRL" is used, this extends off the screen, which makes it virtually unuseable. Is there a way to anchor this popup window to maybe top of screen to drop or expand down from there?
As always Great Job on this software!!

That is one of the issues with having expanded text in a popup...but one thing you can do to fix it is use the Quick View Panel instead.

Click the small U button in the toolbar and a panel will display at the bottom, then everything that normally displays in a popup will display there instead. Plus, the data will stay there until replaced when you move the cursor off the link.

The Quick Panel can be moved around also.

Tim, That window is much better than a popup! Thanks again! This window can be floating and moved about, it will show the "Highlighted" words as in the search criteria and resized as well as copy functions from it. By using the "CTRL" key, it will expand before and after verses will show until a new one is selected.
