Hi Tim, just trying your latest version 3.6.2
I am using Vista OS. I am not quite sure if the permissions are correctly set by the installer. The error log file could not be created until I ran the program as administrator. More importantly I did get this error in the log file when trying to do Bible compare, Keyword only. Nothing appeared to be happening, but when I exited BA, I was directed to a log file, I could not find it at first, because it had not been made. Then I thought I would change the permissions to run as admin, and repeated the process that caused the error. This time the file was created as you can see below.
Hope this info helps you trace the problem.

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "controlMini.pyo", line 1687, in OnCompare
File "controlMini.pyo", line 1774, in DisplayCompare
UnboundLocalError: local variable 'fixedRef' referenced before assignment
Thanks for the info. There was a tiny oversight by somebody (me, I can't find anyone else to blame) in the Compare/Keyword code that caused the error. I fixed it and will upload a new update file tonight (3.6.3). It may be tomorrow before I get the complete setup file uploaded (we only have dial-up here in the hills). Do you know of any more bugs or glitches?

Hello Tim, thanks for looking at the problem. I seem to have a warped "Midas Touch", in that the first thing I touch on a program is often broken, (but I don't know that) the program is then sent to the bin.
I can have a look for other bugs. Apart from reading and meditating and practising what the Bible says, I have made room for testing of programs that help others do the same. So when I have time I will be testing Bible Analyser. I will of course notify you. Also if you are open to any suggestions or observations, I will supply the same.

Tim, thanks for the quick fix and upload. Have you noticed that after doing some statistical searches, that the mouse pointer will change to busy when hovered over the title bar, and/or Bible tree area?
Also is there any way you can get a crash to report to the interface at the point of the crash? This would give a clearer indication of how to repeat. I just looked in the report log and found about 10 "Crashes", but I am not sure how they can be repeated. These could have been from last time, so I will delete the file and start over. Could the time/date of the problem be included?
