Text-to-speech engine missing

Post by tjmott »

I had to rebuild my Toshiba Satellite C655D and loaded v 4.6.5.10 and the TTS was not working. I have W7-64 and "Anna" is on the machine and working. I uninstalled and re-installed to no avail. I had lots of AT&T voices I need to recover but "Anna" is there. BA gives me a pop-up window stating TTS engine is missing. Tim

For some reason Bible Analyzer can't find the Microsoft TTS engine. Did it work on that computer before you rebuilt it?

I may not have ever used TTS on this machine. TextAloud3 works well with AT&T voices and the W7 TTS speech properties with "Anna" tests good.

I ordered the CD Rom set and can rebuild if needed. Have not received them yet. Thanks, Timothy
