installing a module

Post by shayneq »

Hi Tim,
I have 2 privately created e-sword modules, that I would like to convert for use in Bible Analyer.
Both are sacred name bibles based on the king james.
If I send the BBLX files to you, would you be kind enough to do the conversion?
How do I send them?
Thanking You in Advance

Found and ran your excellent converter Tim.
Works like a charm.
If you or anyone else have an interest in sacred name versions, let me know, and I will email the BBLX file to you.
One question: All versions of the bible, not just the ones I installed myself, have many word offset to the LHS e.g.
Det 5:9, Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I YHWH thy Elohim am a jealous
El, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth
generation of them that hate me,
....
The word generation is inappropriately offset to the left.
Is there a cure for this?
Thanks
Shayne

The e-sword convertor will work pretty good for many esword modules but not so well for others. One issue is esword modules are not consistent. Many different users make them and sometimes they are not formatted correctly or consistently and some will not even convert.

If you want you can send me the bblx modules (zip and email to morton@bibleanalyzer.com) and I will make mods from them when I get time.

The words that are shifted to the left, is this even with the Bibles that come with Bible Analyzer? What edition of BA are you using? Windows, Mac, or Linux? Sometimes resizing the windows slightly will cause words to shift back in place.
