Parallel Bibles displayed

Post by jeffneedle »

Hello. Using Ubuntu 10.04, latest version of BA.

When I click on the Parallel tab in the Bible window, I get the AV and the ASV. How do I get other Bibles to display here?

I suspect the problem may be that I have my other mudules saved in jeff/Documents/BibleAnalyzer instead of the place where the AV and ASV are stored by default. I'm thinking there must be a way of telling BA which Bibles I want to display when I choose Parallel from the Bible window.

Thanks.

Sorry this reply is so old, but for some reason we were not notified of it.

You may have to copy or move the Bibles in your jeff/Documents/BibleAnalyzer to the usr/share/bibleanalyzer folder to see if it will work. They will have to be sudo copied.

Linux Note

Actually we have not spent much time on the Linux version for quite a while. We don't even have a computer available with Ubuntu presently. The simple fact is the Linux version of Bible Analyzer is very rarely downloaded and often when it is, it is by someone with some other flavor of Linux, which it wasn't coded for, who can't get something to work, and then they complain to me or on some forum that Bible Analyzer Linux doesn't work. I simply do not have time for this.

(This does not refer to you, Jeff. Your post is relevent)

I say that to say this. Don't be surprised if v4.1 is the last Linux version, flaws and all.
