I have an earlier version of CD, and want to install the modules to my Linux (Zorin--Ubuntu 10+) BibleAnalyzer 4.7. Are the modules for linux one and the same as for windows?
Another thing, I was navigating to find the Module folder in Linux, but cannot find the supposedly to be present usr/share/bibleanalyzer folder under which the modules should be located. Thanks.
Help on Installing Modules in Linux
Re: Help on Installing Modules in Linux
The module files themselves are the same between all three platforms. The only difference is the delivery method.
Since v4.6 the BA modules folder has been moved to
/opt/bibleanalyzer/modules
This was required for submission to the Ubuntu Software Center.
If you extract the zip files under the modules folder on your CD to the corresponding folder on your computer, Bible Analyzer should find them. (Some files that are not .zip can be copied)
If you get an error when trying to start Bible Analyzer, try starting it once in Terminal with this command
sudo bibleanalyzer
This is so the index files can be created.
