Crash in Image Viewer

Hello Tim,

Whenever I load up any/all images in the Image Viewer, the image loads but it shows an error message and I have to restart BA.

It looks like a problem with my Python, though I'm not for certain. Any suggestions?

Yes, that is a bug in the Python Imaging Library (PIL), not in Bible Analyzer. I may be able to make a work around when I get time.

I fixed this issue and made a new deb which we officially released (5.0.5). It is available here,
www.bibleanalyzer.com/bibleanalyzer_5.0-5_all.deb

This is also available from our main download page.

Hi Tim,
Thanks! That resolved error. It now displays each location nicely. Since this is 5.05 does that mean it incorporates the changes in the windows 5.05 version or am I "jumping the gun" on that one?

There may be a few things different from the v5.0 Windows edition, but it is essentially the same. Remember, this is v5.0. The windows edition is now 5.1. They are different.

I understand, but I do appreciate your moving the Linux version forward as you are. Thank you!

Thank you Bro. Tim, I downloaded the new version and it worked perfectly. One thing you might need to mention on the website is that on Mint 18, in order to play midi files, the package vlc-fluidsynth-plugin needs to be installed so Mint will support playback of Midi files from music players/programs.

And to repeat what Darrel said, thank you for supporting Linux. This truly is the best native Bible study program on Linux and is the only one I use. I used to work on Ubuntu Christian Edition and have looked/used every native Bible software available. This is bar none the best.
