Large amounts of Bibles and Commentaries

Post by bromichaelhenry »

Hello,

This can't be fixed right now, but Bible Analyzer needs a way to better show more bibles and commentaries (in case you have millions of people all of a sudden start making modules or switching to BA :) ).

Here is a screenshot with hundreds of Bibles loaded up:

Here is a screenshot with about 300 commentaries:

The pop up comes up but does not show any modules even if I wait for a while.

Of course this is on Linux.

This can give you something to work on for version 6 :D

God bless you Bro. Tim

I have not really anticipated that many modules being loaded at once, but it is a possibility, I suppose. However, dealing with all that data will slow any app down even if it can load them all.

I'll keep this under consideration.

To be fair, I normally don't load that many at once. The only reason I did it this time was because I converted about 2000 modules from other software packages and I had loaded them up to have a lazy way of testing them. I have later found out on Linux DB Browser for SQLite works awesome for loading the modules, getting a feel to see if they are right, minor edits including what appears of the tab and module information. I still have hundreds to go through. but what I do now is edit them place them in a holding directory and then copy them over when done to test them. If I like them, I keep them. If not, them back in another directory for storage.
