I run an advanced search through Master Control Panel with customized search limits.
Then, if I run a search from Bible text via second-click->"Search for ... in Bible", the search limits from previous advanced search are being applied.
OR:
I run a case sensitive search on "God" through Master Control Panel.
Then, later, as I read Romans 5:3, I decide to look up where else "tribulation" appears in Romans, so I second-click on tribulation and choose "Search for "tribulation" in Bible". Romans 2:9 isn't being found, because there "Tribulation" begins with a capital.
In both cases the same would happen if I'd be using "Quick Entry" instead of second-click in Bible panel.
Is this a bug, or is this a default behavior?
Search settings advanced window vs context menu search
Re: Search settings advanced window vs context menu search
This is the default behavior.
This way the user can customize the right-click and Quick Entry searches if they change the settings under Advanced Search.
I realize a user may forget about previous search settings and then get unexpected results as you have, so I don't know if this is an issue for many users or not.

Re: Search settings advanced window vs context menu search
Now that I know it's by default, I can use it accordingly.
It has been unexpected, as you've said, for the first time, but now that I know how it works, it shouldn't be a problem at all.
Thank you!
