Hi,

I am using ver 3.9.3 and found a bug. When using the avs module and clicking on a number it replies that this number cannot be found in strongs. The problem is the number is lacking the g or h that is present before the numbers in the strongs modules. Is there a fix for this?

God bless,
Bob

Well.... I can't tell you right now. I am on my Linux computer, which is also running the newest version of your software. I don't know if you remember me or not, but I just purchased some modules for my Linux machine, and I cannot get any of the new modules to be seen by the program. They are in the right place, the program just isn't seeing them.

Anyway, I can't open the AV with strong's because it is not seen. Once I get to my windows box I will check and let you know.

God bless,
Bob

Did the modules work ok at first and then quit working? On Linux sometimes deleting the config.ini will fix issues like that.

OK...

Whether I am in Linux or Windows the strong's numbers in the avs module do not work with the strong's module. The strong's module lists the number with a prefix of g or h, and the avs module only lists the number with no prefix. So it cannot find the number wither in OT or NT.

Having said that, this program is great. I am going to promote this program to everyone I know that uses Linux. It is so much better than any of the other bible programs for Linux hands down, keep up the great work.

God bless,
Bob

Try this thread and download the AVS and Strongs dictionary and see if that help your situation

In Windows try deleting both the AVs (in Modules/Bible folder) and Strong's modules, plus the strongs .idx module (both in Modules/Dictionary folder). Then extract the files from your ba-study+.tar.bz2 archive you downloaded and put them back in the respective folders. If it works, do the same with your Linux installation. The .idx file in generated by Bible Analyzer. It is not in the archive.

If you want the Windows installation file of the Study bundle (will install in the right folders automatically), email me and I'll send you a link.
