i am preparing a read through the bible list for next year by using the word count feature in the master control panel.

was doing fine until i got to 1 samuel. i can get the total number of words in the book, but i cannot get the count for, say chapters 1-3 as i have been able to in the previous books.

any ideas?

i see now that this issue applies to any book that has a number in the name of the book 1 kings, 2 chronicles, 2 peter, etc.

It looks like you found a tiny bug in the reference checker code. We will get this issue fixed for the next release. At present, there is no way around it that I can see.
