Thanks for the reminder. I will add the reference linking code to the Mac edition that is on the Windows. I forgot to do it.

I posted a new beta. It is the same link as in the initial post.

This one fixes some issues with the captions being out of sync.
The show Strong's numbers option not being saved
The maximize state not being saved
and a couple other things.

I'm running Mac OS X version 10.12.5, and I just downloaded the 5.2 Beta. So far, most everything seems to work OK, but I have noticed one glitch. This may have already been brought to your attention, but I couldn't find anything on the forums. The issue has to do with the verse pop-up that occurs whenever you mouse over a scripture reference. In the release version of Bible Analyzer (5.0), whenever I held down the COMMAND key (Apple key) as I moused over a scripture reference, the popup displayed three verses before and three verses after the referenced verse, since I had "7" selected in the Preferences dialog (Options II tab) for "Maximum Popup Verse Range." In the 5.2 beta version, I can't seem to duplicate this behavior. I'm not sure if the COMMAND key has changed to some other key, or if this feature is suddenly missing. I've tried the COMMAND, OPTION, CONTROL and SHIFT keys, and various combinations of the above, but all I get as I mouse over a scripture reference is a popup showing the single verse referenced.

I'll look into this. Probably some code I commented out to test something else.

Tim,
Perhaps you post the latest build.
Mine does not work correctly. My Commentary screens stays on screen after exiting. I have to force stop the program.

New beta is now available (5.2.0.21),
http://www.bibleanalyzer.com/files/Bibl ... 52beta.dmg

Fixes,

You can now quit by,
closing BA from the toolbar button,
Clicking the "Quit Analyzer5" item in the menu,
or by Cmd+Q

Hank, hopefully this will also resolve your hanging commentary issue when closing.

Also, there is a new Preferences item in the Main Apple Menu.

Also, the quick search entry freezing issue (mentioned in another thread) is resolved, I think.

And, as mentioned by Doug, the Cmd key will again cause the verse popups to show a range of verses. Also, holding Cmd while hovering over a word in the Bible panel will display the topic from the current dictionary in a popup.

Tim,

I'm on 10.11.6 and it will not load for me either.
EDIT:
This was on the first Beta link, not the second.... I overlooked the second beta link.

That is what fills the console when I attempt to run it.
EDIT:
I just realized there was a new Beta image... I'm downloading that now to give that test.

Shane,

Try moving your
USER/Library/Application Support/Bible Analyzer
folder and then try to start Bible Analyzer. It will generate a new folder.

If it starts, you can move the modules folder and any user made files (markup, etc) back to the original location.

If it still won't start. let me know.
