Popup in new Downloader view

The hint in the left of the Download Manager, says that the popup should only work if it is over the module title, but I find that the popup is active in all of the columns, obscuring your view as you scroll with the mouse wheel.

True. This seems to be a bug in the underlying control. If the cursor is anywhere in the row the "hit test" is triggered.

Would this work better if one had to hold down Shift or Alt to view the popup? Now if Control is down and clicked the info will display in a fixed window.

I suggest using the same method of viewing Bible info that you have in the main program, that it comes off a right-click menu, then there is some continuity for users, and also they can get the full version of the about info (if possible) as they would in the Bible view. At the moment the info is also truncated, so for the AV it is truncated with the word ...cont even in the fixed window it is truncated text, which is less than ideal when you want to know all the details of the translation, particularly if it is for purchase.
Just my thoughts, she's your ship...

I notice also three+ typos in the description of the AV-1611, and it is not Old English spelling part, it is the transcribers words.

The Authorized King James Version, 1611
w/Original Headings, Notes, Italics, Cross-References, Spelling, and Punctuation
400th Anniversary Edition, v1.2
This digital edition of the Authorized King James Version of 1611 was hand typed from images and facsimilies of the first edition ("he" printing) by, The Carpenter, who wishes to remain anomynous. It took him approximately two years of painstaking work to type the Bible text, marginal notes, cross-references, chapter headings, and tag the 13,000+ italics. Every effort was made to retain spelling, punctutation, letter spacing, and even the typographical misprints of the 1611 edition. After 400 years this text is by far the closest digital representation of the original printed text available...cont.

I made a workaround so the popup will only display when the cursor is in the center area of the row, generally around the description text. This should work better.

The reason the info is truncated is all the data is downloaded in real time when the downloader is opened. If the entire info data of all modules was included, now over 120 titles, the data set would be significantly larger. Those with fast internet connections would hardly notice, but those with slower connections would see a delay. Some even still use dial-up connections. So we include the first paragraph or so and truncate the rest. Hopefully, it is enough for the user to decide if they want to try it. We may change this in the future.

As you saw the fixed window display shows the same data as the popup. It is there just as an alternate display method.

Thanks for your input and also showing the spelling mistakes.

Your'e welcome.

I did not appreciate that ones were still on dial-up.
looking forward to testing your solution.

Thanks
