Re: Linux/Ubuntu 4.5 Beta

With 4.5 the lowercase bible is the preferred folder. However, BA looks through all folders under the "modules" folder recursively for modules. They do not have to be in the designated folder to be found as long as they are under modules (or in /Documents/BibleAnalyzer folder). I usually s...

Re: Linux/Ubuntu 4.5 Beta

With 4.5 the module folder names are all lowercase. Try, sudo mv ~/Desktop/*.bib /usr/share/bibleanalyzer/modules/bible However, if you installed 4.5 on top of 4.1 there may be some confusion with the paths/pathnames. Probably the easiest way to start fresh is, Back up all your added modules Remove ...

Brother Mike; Yes, gksu nautilus works with Unity, at least 11.10 which I presently use. MPaul; True, many users only use graphical interfaces and the suggestion of Brother Mike will allow you to use one to manage files as a root user. Linux is rather peculiar among the OSs in that it does not have ...

Re: BA-iOS? Any chance?

Any chance? Not really. The reason is the Windows, Mac, and Linux editions all use the same code base. Quite a bit of work was involved in actually getting BA to work on each platform, but they share the same basic code. The tablets, though, require a completely different language, Java for Android ...

Re: Linux/Ubuntu 4.5 Beta

Now that I think about it some of the exe files are LZH compressed and Archive Manager may not like them. I didn't try them all.

Re: New version?

Yes, we are presently working on an update of the Linux version to 4.5. It should be ready soon.

The Linux edition of Bible Analyzer seems to not have generated much interest in the Linux community. If v4.5 does not arouse more interest we will not be able to spend much more time on it.

That may be it. You can test by renaming a couple of the Spanish files. We hope to make Bible Analyzer multilingual in the future.

An older module most likely, Go to your /Library/Application Support/Bible Analyzer/Modules/Dictionary folder and look for any .dct files that have "strongs" in them. You only want s-strongsEx.dct. Remove the others. If you don't have it, download it here, www.bibleanalyzer.com/files/s-str...
