Re: Linux/Ubuntu 4.5 Beta

I believe the TR is Stephanus 1550. I suspect it is just a small issue that is causing BA not to find your Strongs Dict. module, but I don't know what it is. For the release edition of 4.5 I'll try to come up with an installer for the modules that will hopefully make installing them easier. Give me ...

Re: Linux/Ubuntu 4.5 Beta

s-strongEx.dct is the correct case of the filename. I mis-typed it above. Mike had it right.

The AV/Strong Index works OK on this Ubuntu installation (11.10). Be sure you have the file s-strongEx.dct (with this exact word case) in your modules/dictionaries folder and the Indexer should work.

Re: Linux/Ubuntu 4.5 Beta

s-strongEX.dct should work. Let me check a couple things on Ubuntu and I'll get back.

Re: Linux/Ubuntu 4.5 Beta

You should not get the "Strong's not loaded" dialog since you have it. Let me check the Linux code later today and see what the issue is. It may just be the Strong's module needs renamed. It should be StrongEX.dct.

Re: Linux/Ubuntu 4.5 Beta

There should be two fonts in the exe. Look at it with Archive Manager and see. If not, I can post a link.

Re: Linux/Ubuntu 4.5 Beta

I changed a setting at the store. Try it again and see if you can log in. If you can't just try creating a new account.

Sorry for the problem.

Re: AV-1611 Module

Actually, you will find that with about every chapter because that is the way they are in the 1611 printed edition. They put a very large drop-cap letter at the beginning of each chapter with the second normal sized capital after. See the image below.

Re: Linux/Ubuntu 4.5 Beta

When the Parallel tab is viewed in the Bible window a search cannot be done because no single text is the current text. To search multiple Bibles you need to go to Advanced Search in MCP and select "Search Multiple Bibles." I have not encountered the problem with the TTS speech. If your er...

Re: Linux/Ubuntu 4.5 Beta

We plan on including the required fonts with the release version of v4.5. They will allow all Greek/Hebrew texts to display properly.

We will look at the parallel issue you mentioned in a couple days. Too busy right now.

Re: Linux/Ubuntu 4.5 Beta

With 4.5 the lowercase bible is the preferred folder. However, BA looks through all folders under the "modules" folder recursively for modules. They do not have to be in the designated folder to be found as long as they are under modules (or in /Documents/BibleAnalyzer folder). I usually s...
