Re: New problem with Linux, actually an old problem

Thanks. Looks like things just break, and there isn't much to be done about it.

Best.

New problem with Linux, actually an old problem

Hi. Thanks so much for all the good work on Bible Analyzer! Bible Analyzer won't start. (Using the latest download from your page.) This happened before on an old system; it's happening again. Here are some details. I've checked my new system (Bodhi Linux), and it installs the Python version necessa...

Restarting a trouble report

Hi. Thanks so much for all the good work on Bible Analyzer! I've checked my new system (Bodhi Linux), and it installs the Python version necessary for Bible Analyzer to run. But Bible Analyzer fails. The message I get is Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: python-wxgtk2.8 (>= 2.8.11.0). According ...

Re: Question about pop-up boxes

Oh my! Yes, the problem was that I didn't have the proper window already opened. I loaded the default layout, and it worked perfectly!

Many, many thanks, good sir. I am profoundly grateful.

Re: Question about pop-up boxes

Sorry, I'm a bit dense. An example: I'm at Matthew 24:1. Under Library, I see "Naves" indicated, and under Naves, "Temple." When I hover over the word Temple, I get the pop-up box. I want to display the entire contents of the pop-up box. There is a message at the bottom of the po...

Question about pop-up boxes

I'm not sure if I've asked this before. Sorry for my senility. I'm using 4.6.5.15. I have the Bible window open to the left and the Library window open to the right. I click on a verse in the Bible window, and available resources open in the right window. When I hover over one of the entries in the ...

Re: Popup question

It's 4.5. Looks like Linux 4.6 is still in beta, so I'll wait until the bugs are worked out. Thanks for the response. In some Bible programs that have popups, they let you press the alt key, or some other key, while moving your mouse over the popup area, and it lets you view the entire section withi...

Popup question

Hi. Thanks so much for the Linux 4.5! It's just wonderful! I ran into a problem, and wonder if you can help. I created a Scripture Pad document and referenced Exodus 3:1-10. After having Scripture Pad process the file so that the scripture comes up in a popup, it turns out that only the first few ve...

Can't update LInux version

I know it's something dumb. I download the update from the prompt in BA and the .exe is saved to the desktop. I double-click on the updater and I'm given a display as if I'm using Windows -- default folder c:\program files\Bible Analyzer. How can I figure out where Bible Analyzer is installed on my ...
