Re: Bible Analyzer 3.9 Linux beta
Hi Tim, 3.9 beta has been working fine for me (as you know) until tonight! Came to use the program and found it wouldn't start. When running it in terminal I get the following: ************ Starting Bible Analyzer ************* Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/bibleanalyzer/a...

Re: Bible Analyzer 3.9 Linux beta
Here are the new AV w/Strong's and Strong's Dct to test with. Thanks Tim, AVs works well now. I have some additional feedback. If I have the Dictionary Popup enabled (click on Strongs number and get a popup window) there is a selection field at the top of the window. It has left and right arrows on...

Saving Layouts
HI Tim, In testing the Beta 3.9 for Linux it occurred to me that it would be great if it was possible to save Layouts after customising them. A particular reason is that with the EEE I like to adjust the layout to maximize the left and right top windows due to limited screen real estate. It would be...

Re: Bible Analyzer 3.9 Linux beta
Hi Tim, Was able to successfully install the .deb over the top of the 3.9 manual upgrade. I'm using the Module files from when I purchased the package from you (I think last year), and have noticed since using Ver 3.9 that the AVs Bible only shows the Strongs reference in the text within square brac...

Re: Bible Analyzer 3.9 Linux beta
Hi Tim, I managed to get this working - thanks! :) I had to rename the Tools to tools as you recommended. Next I got an error indicating there was no Audio file/folder under my Home/Paul/.bibleanalyzer folder so I had to create that. GREAT news thought - the application now correctly fits into the 1...

Re: Companion Bible Notes and Linux
Thanks Tim, No success with the fonts, but it's not essential since 3.9 is in the wings. Would be great if there was some way to get the window size working okay in 3.9. I'm realising that even if I unminimise the application it will not let me shrink the window height. So even though the config.ini...

Re: Companion Bible Notes and Linux
Thanks Tim, that's great about 3.9 for Linux and I would definitely appreciate being included in testing the beta. I downloaded the fonts zip file from your link and tried installing the contents in both /home/paul/.fonts and /usr/share/fonts/truetype/nextbiblefonts (these locations are from doing a...

Companion Bible Notes and Linux
Hi TIm, Me again! :) I've just purchased the Netbible and Notes and Companion Bible/Notes for BA. I'm trying to use them in my Linux install (3.7 Linux, or 3.9 under Wine - Ubuntu 9.04). What I'm finding is that on the 3.7 under native Linux the Companion Notes are all spurious characters. The Netbi...
