Re: Module Location In Ubuntu 9.04

Hi Tim,

The size parameter in config.ini appears to get overwritten by the application when it starts and does show a value of (1024,600) after running BA, but it's definitely taller than 600pixels :)

I've tried 550 etc. but makes no difference due to the over-writing by the app.

Thanks

Re: Module Location In Ubuntu 9.04

Hi Tim, Thanks for the help! :) Your mentioning of the config.ini made me hunt for it, since I couldn't find it under the usr/share/bibleanalyzer folder and I discovered the hidden bibleanalzer folder until /home/paul, where I also found a modules folder! From previous threads about folder location ...

Module Location In Ubuntu 9.04

Hi Tim, I did have the Linux BA 3.7 version working fine on Ubuntu 8.x but having upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04 I'm having problems with getting the additional module files recognised. I've tried installing them in /usr/share/bibleanalyzer/modules where I see the default modules are present. But BA will n...

BibleAnalyzer Window

Hi Tim, I've had an smallish issue with the Linux version since using it but not got around to reporting it but thought I'd mention it now. I'm using BibleAnalyzer primarily on my Asus Eee PC which has a resolution of 1024x600. What I find is that the Bible Analyzer window when maximised is not fitt...

Re: 3.7.001 RC

Hi Tim, I managed to get the 3.7 Linux version working on my EeePC Ubuntu Netbook Remix using the .deb file link and just wanted to say a big thanks for including the new module location under the home folder which has made a big difference in being able to load much more of the resources than I cou...

Modules Folder location in Linux

Hi Tim, I saw that there is a beta 3.7 for Windows. I was wondering if you have any fresh plans to be able to relocate the Modules folder or link to secondary location for modules in Linux. I know you didn't have plans earlier in the year. It would be a great benefit for installations such as the EE...

Re: BibleAnalyzer 3.61 and Ubuntu 9.04 Won't Run

Hi Tim, I installed Ubuntu myself on the 901. It originally comes with Xandros Linux, but the day I bought it I put Ubuntu-eee on there which works fine with BibleAnalyser. It's only when a few days ago my brother told me about the new Ubuntu 9.04 netbook remix that I blew away my previous install a...
