Re: Re-downloading Modules

I'm not sure how crossover works, I've never used it, but if it is a Windows emulator on Linux then you would just copy the modules into the Modules folder used by Bible Analyzer in crossover. You can find it by running Bible Analyzer and open Tools/Display Primary Modules Folder in the menu. Just p...

Re: Importing User Notes

User notes are saved in the file "notes.usr" found in your User Data Folder. To find this folder go to Tools/Display User Data Folder in the Bible Analyzer main menu. You can copy the file to your new installation's User Data Folder and it should display your notes. It is also best to back...

Re: Master control panel

There must be duplicate copies in another location. You can got to Tools/Display Primary Modules Folder and Tools/Display User Modules Folder to check for only one copy, but maybe the easiest way would be to search your whole drive for the file name of one of the files and see if you get two hits. I...

Re: Modules: Refreshing Bible Analyzer

Well, Bible Analyzer can be partially refreshed. What I mean is, say you have a Bible module you are building or editing, if the module already has the verse references entered, like, Gen 1:1 Gen 1:2 etc. and the verse text is empty, you can add the verse text in your text editor, build the module (...

Re: Other Strong's dictionaries in popup

No, because the formatting is done on the fly within the Bible Analyzer code when a popup is called. It is not the formatting of the module itself. Sorry for not being clear about that. Without some added formatting for the popups the popup display would look identical to the dictionary display, whi...

Re: Verse notes disappear sometimes

It appears the blocks are caused by using the wrong text encoding when the text is copied and pasted. This text has characters beyond the standard 128 character ASCII range so it must be encoded into UTF-8 to include them. This can be done with a text editor such as Notepad++.

Re: Other Strong's dictionaries in popup

At this time only Strong's dictionaries can be used for the Strong's popups in the Bible and other windows. The issue is Thayers (and others) need to be formatted differently for them to display properly in a popup. We just haven't done that yet.
