Re: minor search issue? or change

Ahhh, I found the problem. When I type a word in Spanish, it doesn't give a word list, matter of fact, nothing happens. However when I type an English word (i.e. Bible reference) I get a list, so for kicks I tried John, and sure enough it searched, course no result in the Spanish Bible. :) I switche...

minor search issue? or change

Bro. Tim, I love the new 4.7 version! Lots of new things. I'm working on Mac. I noticed that before in the reference box, I could do a quick search by simply typing a word in there, or a reference if I wanted to go to a reference. I noticed that the search function is no longer there, and it only ha...

Re: Speed question/issue

Yep, I must be blind! I kept looking under preferences to locate some sort of shut off or something. All the while it was right under my nose. Thanks!

Re: Speed question/issue

Ok, I think this may be something to do with 'word lookup' modules for the dictionary. I spend probably close to 90% of my time in BA in a Spanish Bible. When I click on a verse (carelessly) I often click on a word, the dictionary then processes that and tries to find it in the dictionary of which 9...

Speed question/issue

When I use BA on Mac, I noticed that it hangs here and there. It always recovers, but sometimes it seems like it takes a while to react. I always get the spinning wheel while it is 'thinking'. I have noticed this is semi-regular behavior for BA, but not for the majority of the programs that I use. I...

Re: ScripturePad Suggestion

Understood! Is html an option at all with python? The end goal for this would be to default save the notes to Dropbox (ie any web cloud based option) and be able to reliably read them, edit them and re-open them in BA. For Message preparation, this would be very valuable as this could then be easily...

ScripturePad Suggestion

I have a quick suggestion for the ScripturePad that I have been using more and more. I would love it if ScripturePad would default to rtf. Rtf files are very versatile and easily opened and edited by many applications. That being said, I set my BibleAnalyzer Note folder inside of my Dropbox folder. ...

Re: Scripture Pad Editor paste

Excellent. I tried it, and it seemed to fix it. As I continue to use it, I will let you know if this minor issue pops up again.

Scripture Pad Editor paste

I'm working on Mac OSx Lion (up to date), with the latest Bible Analyzer 4.6.5. When I copy and paste something in the Scripture Pad Editor (SPE), it changes the font of the entire thing. It only happens if I copy something that is already inside the SPE, and try to paste it in the SPE. Like, I want...

Re: Mac OS X crash: 4.6 indexing at startup

Bro. Tim, Thanks for those files! That seemed to fix the issue too. Apparently there are files somewhere on my system that I wasn't able to locate so far. I checked many times inside my user directory /Users/MYUSERNAME but I didn't check system wide. Perhaps they were located outside of my user dire...
