I fixed the Download Manager error and the TTS voice issue plus a couple other things.

Use the link in the original post to download (I modified it). This is v5.4.0.23

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Mac)

Great!

What version of MacOS are you on?

I'll fix the errors you got and post a new beta pretty soon. There are a couple other changes I need to make as well.

Re: Download Manager

But the message window does not mention "purchases;" it speaks of "Downloads." It states what purchased titles have not yet been downloaded. Re: Download Manager

When synced successfully and there are no NEW titles that need to be installed, it will say there are 0 (uninstalled) downloads. However, to see what titles have been purchased, look for "Purchased" in the "price" column. They can be checked and re-downloaded at any time.

Re: Download Manager

Look in your /Documents/Bible Analyzer User Modules folder for the ebooks.

I'm not sure why the Download manager is not working right for you. Normally when one enters their store email and password it will show what they have purchased by displaying "Purchased" in the Price column.

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Linux)

Not at the moment. It seems the apt package manager will not recognize modules installed by pip, and deb packages are built with apt.

In a few days Ubuntu 19.10 will be released and I'll see what happens trying to install v5.4 with it. I'll have to change the deb some, most likely.

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Linux)

Here is the module,
http://www.BibleAnalyzer.com/files/adv.py

Put it in the Bible Analyzer zip file and see what happens.

This is a wx module but it should work in the zip.

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Linux)

Well...it appears Debian/Ubuntu has completely removed all wxPython builds based on Python 2.7. All they have are the Python 3.7 builds and Bible Analyzer 5.4 is based on 2.7. I am in the process of updating all the code to 3.7, but it is not ready yet. (One can say what they want about Windows, but...
