Re: Gstreamer error on Linux Mint 18.3
I think the new Linux 5.4 beta may take care of this issue. However, It will only run on Ubuntu 19.10 and later because of dependencies. It will likely be next summer before Mint will have them. If I get a chance I'll look at the 5.2 code and if it is practical to try and fix it. Normally I wouldn't...

Re: Gstreamer error on Linux Mint 18.3
Are you using Bible Analyzer 5.2?
Are you on a virtual machine or running a Mint full install? (Some times a VM causes errors like this).

I have not been able to reproduce that issue. Hard to tell what the glitch is.

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Mac)
Bible Analyzer gets its voices from the underlying OS. They are what Mac sends. It does seem the only "premium" voices are Alex and Victoria, both capitalized. The names all in lowercase are lower grade voices. I fixed a couple display issues and released the Windows and Mac editions of v5.4 this mo...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Linux)
I will have to completely re-code the page display to get RTL on Linux. I'll work on it as I get time.

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Windows)
Good catch.
That section of the right-click code was temporarily modified to help troubleshoot something else. I restored it and the release version will have a context menu when there is a selection.

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Windows)
Here is maybe the last beta of v5.4 (5.4.0.28). It could be called a release candidate. Same link above. The changes made are, Parallel texts no longer require an edition of the AV to be checked. The export verse to ScripturePad/Editor on right-click code has been optimized. Creating links of refere...

Re: Bible Analyzer 5.4 beta (Linux)
After several hours work, I have the Bible Analyzer Linux code converted to Python 3.6+. This deb should install on any Ubuntu 19.10 distro, www.bibleanalyzer.com/bibleanalyzer_5.4-1_all.deb I think nearly everything works on it (except the display of RTL texts). The exact audio timing works. See th...

Clicking an entry now works, The export verse(s) to ScripturePad has been modified. Making reference links from the Links Button in Scri...

Re: Bible tabs crazy order
By default the tabs are loaded in file name, alphabetical order. When they are reordered a list is saved to the config.ini file to reorder the tabs after they are initially created during startup. Normally, they will be ordered correctly, but sometimes the "drag and drop" code can have a glitch and ...
