5.2.1.25 help issue
When I hit F1 for help I get an error saying it can not find it. It is looking for ~/manual/index.html. I found it located in the install directory in /opt/bibleanalyzer/manual/index.html, and so made a symbolic link to resolve the issue. I did look in the ~/.config/bibleanalyzer/config.ini for a li...

Re: 5.2 Beta (linux) Larkin books have no pictures
I looked at the hrefs in the book file via strings and found this is the path that they are looking for: modules/text/images/LarkinDT/33.weeks.gif So of did links (symbolic) to Text -> text and also Images -> images and it still does not work. I think you might have other code looking or pointing el...

Re: 5.2 Beta (linux) Larkin books have no pictures
This is probably a path case issue. Try renaming the images folder Images or vice-versa. That did not work. I then created links to Text and Images for all lower-case and then restarted BA and it still did not work. This is not a show stopper, I can still view them with the image viewer. Just not i...

I looked in the images directory under text and they are there, but they do not display.

Linux tips and tricks for geeky Christians
This is a few of the things that I do to make Linux good platform for Bible study, aside from using Bible Analyzer. I wrote a function for my .bashrc file to perform lookups user text data lists, and dict server: lu () { # do a lu {word} and it will find a match and stop, lu by it self will go full ...

VereClick for HTML files
I use a free tool called VeresClick ( https://av1611.com/verseclick/ ), all you have to do is place it in the heading line of the code and it will then do pop-up windows of the text in KJV. It is designed to work off of a server, but works really well with local files viewed in a browser as long as ...

Re: 5.05 and 5.2 hang in Ubuntu 16.10
I ran into this, it seems to be an issue with how it is called. This seemed to hang: /opt/bibleanalyzer/ba-run.py But this works: python2 -u /opt/bibleanalyzer/ba-run.py It needs to have the #! declared in the first line pointing to python. I just changed the script to call it like the second exampl...
